National Trust Clumber Challenge

This is a slightly more challenging ride around the park at Clumber and will run alongside the easy one. We vary routes through the lovely parkland and include a variety of roads and tracks (mostly traffic free). Mileage is only average as we always ride at the pace of the slowest rider and have a time limit. You may be charged entry/parking in the park (they are usually kind if you tell them you are there for the Ladies Cycleabout) but once you have been on one ride, you will get a ticket for free entry to the other summer evening rides. A mens only ride is also available at the same time to keep them occupied while they wait. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. We really welcome newcomers to our rides. It’s a good idea to bring water and a snack. Visitor facilities are closed at the time of this ride. Need a bike? Bike hire is available for a discounted rate of £2 as this ride is run through the National Trust.  Book on the ride to reserve your bike. Look forward to seeing you there!
