Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

We will meet at the car park opposite Tescos in Musselburgh at the clock at 9.50am and we will leave at 10am.
The car park is beside the river. Approx time required for this ride is 2 hours.
We will follow the shared path along the River Esk to Cowpits Road where we will follow this minor road to meet the A6094 where we will turn right and follow the road to the opening for Smeaton House which takes us into the Dalkeith Country Park. We will follow this minor road through the park until we reach the Cafe at the Restoration Yard, We will return via the same route. Approximately 8 miles in total.

This route uses paths that have a hard packed or tar surface. There is also a short section of road work. It is suitable for all bikes.

This route will be at a nice leisurely pace with the opportunity to stop to take photos or breaks as and when required on the day by the Ride Leader. We will stop for refreshments at the cafe in the Restoration Yard before returning to Musselburgh.

Helmets must be worn, lights are advised, be bright and be seen! Please wear warm clothes, including gloves and possibly waterproofs dependant on weather and bring a drink, spare inner tube or puncture repair kit and pump if you have one. We will stop for coffee / tea so please bring a form of payment or bring your own refreshments and a lock for your bike. First timers and ebikes are welcome. We never leave anyone behind!
