Munching the miles to Millets

We will be going anticlockwise so that our entry on to and exit from the A338 is made as LEFT turns. we will go out via Uffington, Baulking, Goosey, Charney Basset and Garford.. Our return trip is via Fyfeld Wick, Charney Bassett, Gainfield, Shellingford and Fernham

A slightly longer but generally flat ride out to Frilford for refreshments at Millets Farm.

We will be on country roads 99% of the time but there is one very short section on the A417 and half a mile on the A338.

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted-on then a spanner that fits the wheel nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, (GLOVES) and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the refreshment stop. Some place’s only take card payments.

We welcome new riders to our group; we ride at about 10-12 mph on rides such as this and we want you to enjoy the ride so consider whether the distance 33 miles is appropriate for you; if not please check back as there will be shorter confidence booting rides during the summer
