Or alternatively get the 10.15 Cremyll ferry frrom Stonehouse, Plymouth and start in Mt Edgcumbe.
Easy going ride, children and beginners welcome. Millbrook riders ride to the Cremyll ferry, pick up any Plymouth riders off the 10.15 ferry. Ride through Mt Edgcumbe Park, round the deer park, take in the views, avoid the sheeps poo! Finish at the Stables cafe at midday for hot chocolate.
Not suitable for road bikes, mines a hybrid which is fine on this terrain, it is a cycle route with a hard plastic beneath the grass but sinks into the mud when it's wet. Views of the sea are stunning.
