Mountain Biking in Delamere Forest

This ride is a gentle introduction to mountain biking. The ride will be approximately 8 miles long and is only suitable for mountain bikes. The route will use a variety of natural singletrack trails that thread their way through the forest and is suitable for those who are new to mountain biking. The exact route we choose will be tailored to the abilities of the riders on the day. Although the route has no major hills it will be a little more strenuous than the normal Breeze rides at Delamere (due to the undulating and rough terrain). It will be a social ride at a moderate pace. Some of the trails may be muddy! There is a cafe next door to the Visitor Centre so bring some money for post-ride tea and cake. PLEASE NOTE - THIS RIDE IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR MOUNTAIN BIKES. HELMETS MUST BE WORN.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start so that we can carry out bike checks, and make sure that you bring a helmet, and a spare inner tube and pump that is appropriate for your bike.
