Starting point

Cheshire
WA4 6RN

After leaving Morrisons car park, we head east alongside Manchester Ship Canal to access the Trans-Pennine Trail. This is followed to Lymm Village and after a short climb towards Lymm Dam we access the level country lanes to Bucklow Hill and pass the millionaire homes at Mere!
A short distance further we turn and head for the entrance to Tatton Park and pass through the Deer Park to our destination, Tatton Pak stately home and the cafe. If its decent weather we can sit in the courtyard.
After a coffee 'n cake break we retrace our route to High Leigh and follow, once again quiet lanes to access Swineyard Lane that will take us back to stunning views of Winter Hill high above Grappenhall. This lovely descent brings us back to Grappenhall, where we pick up the TPT at Latchford Locks and our return to Morrisons Car Park
