Moredon Sporting Hub to Mouldon County Park Novice Ride

For the initial ride we'll be leaving Moredon Sporting Hub and turning left to join the cycle path alongside Akers Way. We'll follow the cycle path onto Chicory Close, a quiet residential road. We'll then join the cycle path alongside Thamesdown Drive and head under the bridge to Mouldon Hill County Park. After a brief stop at the lake we'll return the same way. Hot drinks and food, along with toilet facilities are available at Moredon Sporting Hub's Route 45 café.

Please note that we'll be progressing to slightly longer rides over the weeks, but we'll ensure that everyone feels supported and no one is ever left behind.

A gentle, traffic-free ride to Mouldon Hill County Park and back from Moredon Sporting Hub.

We'll be mostly following traffic-free cycle paths, with a short section of quiet residential road. The route is all paved.

We'll stop along the route whenever needed, no one ever gets left behind.

Riders are strongly encouraged to wear helmets. Bikes & helmets are available to borrow for £3.00 from Moredon Sporting Hub (as part of the ladies learn to cycle & confidence session).

These rides are designed to help some of the ladies who have joined our ladies learn to cycle & cycle confidence session take the next steps. We also welcome any other ladies to join who'd like to improve their confidence and bike riding skills, we can provide tips and support en-route. The ride is led by female ride leaders and coaches/volunteers.
