The entrance is on the roundabout off the B6001 and the A6020 between Pilsley, Baslow, Ashford & Bakewell. The Old Railway Station building now incorporates a café, bookshop, gift shop & cycle hire, with ample parking. DE45 1NW

The Monsal Trail is a traffic free route for walkers, cyclists, horse riders and wheelchair users through some of the Peak District's most spectacular limestone dales. Lovely gentle off road flat trail through beautiful countryside. Taking in 6 recently reopened atmospheric railway tunnels along the way. A lovely way to wind down for the weekend after a busy week.
