A gentle 'there and back' route along the Lon Las Ogwen cycle path to Tregarth, starting at Port Penrhyn in Bangor. This ride is all on the cycle track (traffic free) which is along an old railway line. It is slightly up hill on the way there and therefore slightly downhill on the way back, but is a gentle ride suitable for most and we will go at the pace of the slowest rider. The cycle path can be cool as it is in the shade so do bring layers and gloves. It's a good idea to bring a spare inner tube (but not essential). It is up to you whether you wear a cycling helmet. Please arrive by 10.45am for a pre-ride bike check and quick warm up.
