Monday night pub ride!

Get out of the house and meet some new people by joining this steady ride round the local villages. We’ll meet at De Lacey Academy at 6.50 in the front car park for a warm up and a quick bike check. Then we’ll head out of Knottingley stopping at the pub on the way for a chat and refreshments before heading back to the school. This route is all roads and lanes, which are used by motorist, farmers and other cyclists. It is mostly flat but please be assured, you will not be left behind. Wear comfortable suitable clothing, a helmet, and remember to bring some money if you want to buy refreshments at the pub. Breeze rides are designed to be informal, social and flexible and can fit around you.  We recognise that spending quality time with your children can be a huge part of the enjoyment of cycling, so if you would like to bring them along then they will always be welcome.  However, please ensure they are capable of completing this ride and note that you are responsible for the safety and welfare of your child at all times.  Children must be competent on the road and must have a helmet. Newcomers are always very welcome, but if you lack confidence and would like to practice your bike skills before heading out on the roads with us, may we recommend our school held at De Lacey Academy on Monday nights 7.20.
