Mince Pie Buster!

We will have all eaten too much over the Christmas period, so lets get out on our bikes and burn it off! One small problem - all Breeze rides include a coffee and cake stop...ah well, never mind! It's the thought that counts! This ride starts in Chorlton and heads along the Fallowfield Loop to Heaton Chapel. From there it’s a short ride down the A6 (in a cycle lane) into the centre of Stockport and on to the Tandem Coffee House. After we have had our break we will head through Stockport on the Trans Pennine Trail and eventually pick up the Fallowfield Loop again back to Chorlton. You will need a bike that is in good working order and wear clothing that is suitable for the day and weather. Remember, you will warm up as you ride, so layers are good. Don’t forget a drink and a puncture repair kit – we will give you help if you have an issue with your bike but you must have the appropriate tools and equipment. Money and a lock for the café stop is needs, although Tandem Coffee House does have locks that can be borrowed if you forget. A helmet isn’t compulsory but is highly recommended, and must be worn by any under 18s. Due to the short road sections on this ride, you will need to be a confident and competent rider in traffic. There is one short, sharp hill in Stockport to negotiate, but we can always get off and walk – never too proud to push with Breeze! Any questions? Drop me a line [email protected] See you there!
