Millom - a scenic and very easy ride around 2 nature reserves.

Using a quiet back road we will go around Millom Ironworks nature reserve then onto Haverigg nature reserve, along the sea wall with a stop at the bird hide overlooking the lagoon. A cafe stop at Haverigg beach before returning via the other side of the nature reserve. We will be on some rough paths, so a skinny tyred road bike will get a bit of a shaking, although a cyclocross bike should be OK. We should get some lovely views of the estuary, then round to the sea wall for good views of the sea and the lagoon.
