Midweek Spin to Cedars Cafe

Fancy a bit of a longer, slightly more challenging ride? This is a ride suitable for more experienced riders. We will cycle approximately 25 miles along quieter country roads at a pace of about 12mph

We will head out via Markyate and Studham, through the Ashridge Estate before stopping for coffee at Cedars cafe in Potten End, returning via Redbourn.

We will cycle as a group and will of course wait at the top of any hills. As leaders we will ensure that no one is left behind so that all the group can have an enjoyable ride.

First Timers and electric assisted bikes are welcome on this ride.

The important bits: Please ensure your bike is in good working order and you have an emergency backup/taxi number to call on in case of issues. Ride Related: - check your bike the night before (Tyre pressure will go down when your bike has not been used or from use!) - Carry 2 spare inner tubes, tyre levers and correct pump - Money for coffee/emergencies. Helmet (compulsory on ride) - Water and a snack. Appropriate bright and warm clothing (Rain/Sun – hopefully the latter) - Lights (not essential but a plus in winter).
