A CHALLENGING ROUTE FOR ROAD BIKES. This ride is aimed at ladies who want to challenge themselves on climbs and getting better at road riding. This ride is hilly and has challenging climbs as well as decents. absolute control of your bike is essential. The route takes us out from Loxley to Bradfield, past Dam Flask, up into High Bradfield, out to Strines Valley, Strines Inn and moor, and back round to Dam Flask in a loop. Please bring inner tubes, puncture repair kit, snacks and drinks to get you around the route. Helmets are not compulsory but recommended, due to the terrain. Please ensure you bring clothing that is suited to all weather conditioners, as Strines can be unpredictable. Lights are also essential as light conditions can change dramatically on an evening ride. As its an evening ride there won't be a refreshment stop. Please contact us on [email protected] if you require further information. Please arrive at the Admiral Rodney in plenty of time, so we can go through the registration process with you. We will leave at 6.30 prompt. Whilst parking in the Rodney Carpark shouldn't be an issue, please do check signs in the Car park.
