Midsummer Night's Breeze

To celebrate the Summer Solstice and with this being the longest day, we will meet a little later than usual, but stop a little longer for supper and perhaps a glass of wine? at the Orchard Restaurant, West Grinstead (A272). If anyone would like to just join us at the restaurant, but unable to ride with us, they have ample parking (I have a photocopy of their extensive menu, including some vegetarian options ranging from £5 - £16) Please let me know you would like to meet us there, so I can warn them in advance of numbers. Hopefully it will be warm enough to sit outside in the orchard, but please bring along a padlock in case we need to sit indoors. Please also bring lights just in case we are delayed. The ride leaving from Henfield is 10 miles out and back in total, everyone is welcome. It will be a nice, slow, leisurely pace. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider and no-one will be left behind. This ride is only suitable for mountain bikes or hybrids with knobbly tyres. Please give your bike a check over before you leave home, are the tyres pumped up? Are the gears and brakes working properly?
