Messingham Zoo Loop, Steady 13.7miles [10-12mph]

A route from Messingham Zoo to & along the Trent all the way to Scotter, passed East Ferry Timber, then left and along the country roads back through Messingham centre & down a hill back to our start.

A wider loop to get back out on other local country roads/lanes. A steady 10-12mph should do just nicely. No-one gets left behind. Time estimate is based on 10mph & meeting.

Mostly country lanes that will be fairly quiet for the time of day.

There are no planned stops, but we can have rest breaks as & when for anyone needing a drink, so please bring one with you. We can also get refreshments at Messingham Zoo before it closes when we arrive back to our meet point, so bring money for this if you plan to stay afterwards.

Please wear a helmet, bring a drink or cash & a spare innertube for any incidents, or have some back-up to get yourself home.
