Starting from - Messingham Millenium Showground, Hole Lane, Messingham. DN17 3SG (although the mapping system thinks its 3RJ!). Leave the A159 at a mini roundabout on the northern edge of Messingham and head East on Holme Lane. The Showground is on your left after about 600yards. If your bike is on a roof rack, watch out for the height restrictor at the entrance!!

A fairly flat easy going ride ( slightly different route from previous editions of this ride), 26 miles all on tarmac, suitable for Road Bikes, Hybrids and Mountain Bikes.We will try and select a pace suitable for the group but will aim at no more than 12 mph moving average.
Heading West from Messingham we ride down the side of the River Trent, then on a pretty road through Laughton Forest to make a coffee stop at Blyton Ice Cream Parlour. Return is via Kirton Lindsey, passing some of the turf fields that have provided the hallowed turf for Wembley.
