Menston to Golden Acre Park

Today's ride is a visit to the lovely Golden Acre park in Bramhope. We leave Menston and ride through Guiseley, mostly avoiding the main roads. We have a steady climb up Carlton lane, not too steep, but we can stop to admire the views if we need a breather! Next our route goes through Bramhope and on to Golden Acre park, involving a short spell on a main road. Once at the park we dismount and wheel our bikes to the lovely cafe where we can have refreshments - the purpose of our trip, of course! Our return journey is the same as the outward one, but this time we cycle down the hills, not up! Please join us for a lovely, not too strenuous, cycle ride. If the weather is bad, we may shorten the ride, stopping for coffee and cake in Bramhope.
