About the route
Friday Ride
Alan will be leading a trail-ride to MeCycles, Ainsdale. Starting at Ryde Cafe, Stanhope Street (old Cains brewery) the ride heads out along the Mersey coastline through Crosby, Altcar and the Fisherman's Path and Butterfly Trails. After lunch, we take the Trans Pennine Trail back along the old Cheshire Lines. A relaxed ride of circa 50 miles suitable for Hybrids/MTB/CX or road/touring bike with off-road tyres.
Depart Ryde cafe at 9:30
Pick-up at Pier Head at 9:45 (for Wirral riders)
