MDCC Saturday Social - Forde House - Exmouth via Topsham Ferry

Come and join one of our Saturday social rides organised by Mid Devon Cycling Club. We’re a friendly bunch. One not to be missed. Pat Ash will be leading this one to Exmouth via the Topsham Ferry. A new one for the Social ride so we're looking forward to this one. Please note that the ferry fare on the Topsham Ferry is £5.50 including bike so you will need this in addition to your café money. Distance is 35 miles with a café stop mid route. Average speed is approximately 10-12mph. We expect to be back at Forde House by approx 2.30 pm Routes can be hilly so a road bike or hybrid is the best type of bike to use. These rides are ideal progression for Breeze or Sky riders who are now finding their challenging rides easy and are getting to the tops of the hills at the front of the groups. Please bring a drink with you, a spare tube just in case and a bike lock and money for the café. Please also dress in accordance with weather conditions. Mid Devon Cycling Club has a website - mdcc.org.uk - where you will be able to find a list of all the club runs and a facebook page where the runs destinations are posted weekly.
