(1) ReviewsThis route takes you to an older smaller Plymouth of 1620. There are several stops for points of interest as we discover why the Mayflowers voyage to America has historic significance for Plymouth and New England. What makes the Pilgrims important to the USA even after 400 years.
We will be avoiding main roads where posssible and also using cycle paths through the local parks. We will take care in and around pedestrian areas and on pavements and will push our bikes across pedestrian crossings on busy roads. There are some cobbles around the Barbican to ride over. There is a small amount of on road riding.
We will be stopping at Historic points of interest. Faith , food and Native Americans involvement with the Pilgrims story will be discussed as we look at Elizabethan Plymouth
Helmet, Waterproofs,money for a coffee stop and energy bar is advisable
