" MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU " HUDDERSFIELD to ROYD MOOR

This is an Easy to Steady paced ride and not too challenging. We average 10 to 12 miles an hour. We leave St.Georges Square at 10.30am, we will then go through Lockwood turning left to Holmfirth passing near Honley & through Netherthong. On reaching Holmfirth we can take a relaxing break for Tea/Coffee or Food at the Cafe that was used in the series "Last Of The Summer Wine". When we leave Holmfirth we will take scenic route to our final destination, going via , Dunsford Road Hill, Millhouse Green. We go past Spicer Hill Windfarm and finishing at Royd Moor Viewing Platform which offers a 360 degree views ( if you have a pair of binoculours they are worth bringing, especially if it's a clear day ). We will stop for about 30mins to take time to rest our butts, eat / drink & chat. Then start our return to Huddersfield.
