Mawddach trail to Barmouth and back with Ice cream!

The route is very nice for all, very sociable ride and what better than cycling to go and get ice cream!!! we will have earnt it for sure!

Relaxing cycle along the beautiful Mawddach trail to pick up an ice-cream…or two!

The route is all off road along a cycle track - it is suitable for all bikes such as road, gravel or mountain bike. There are no big hills, it is all fairly flat and suitable for beginners to advanced.

We will cycle down to Barmouth to the fabulous ice-cream shop there who apparently cater for all diets (even vegan ice cream!) and then cycle back. We will then have a choice to either stop at the George III for something to eat/coffee etc, or continue to cycle back to the car - this is optional ending which we will discuss nearer the time - we dont all have to finish at the same place, we can cater for some needing to get back and others who want food.

Helmets are a must please. I will have necessary tools and first aid kit, but please bring water and if you need a warm layer please bring that with you. If its very hot then i would also suggest sunscreen, and extra water. Wear comfortable clothing, if you dont have cycle specific clothing just wear trainers (no open toed shoes), and comfy bottoms like leggings or shorts, NO jeans please. Dont forget your money.
