Marvellous Meriden - Watford Cycle Hub

Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends riding? Our easygoing Breeze rides for Women are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages (including kids under 15 years old) along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re led by qualified Breeze Champions and aim to take no longer than an hour at a gentle pace set by the slowest rider. On this ride we’ll be meandering our way to Watford Cycle Hub at Holywell Community Centre, West Watford where we will be greeted with tea, coffee, and cake.  We’ll stop there for around half an hour before making our way back to Garston.  Watford Cycle Hub also gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about all things bike related. They can offer advice, book your bike in for a service, or just enjoy your refreshment break in a relaxed community led place. You'll marvel at how quickly you can get away from the bustle of major access routes!  Within a matter of minutes you'll be riding along quiet country lanes, through wooded areas, touching the edge of a golf course and discovering the peace & tranquillity of an area that’s inside the M25! Most of the ride will be along cycle paths, although there will be a couple of short sections on a quiet road. Additional Information Helmets must be worn by all under 18's.
