About the route
The route starts at the Texaco Garage on Stockport Road in Marple.
We will follow Stockport Road, down Dan Bank and up through Offerton towards Stockport.
Once in Stockport, we join the A6 towards Levenshulme. We then turn off down a side road to come out on Alan Turing Way for the last section towards the velodrome.
The route is on-road for most of the way.
