Organized by groups in the community, these rides are a great way to meet new people, explore your local area and to have fun riding your bike. You can find rides that are suitable for your level of experience and interests whilst enjoying being part of a social cycling community.

This week's ride will be on Wednesday rather than the usual Thursday. The route will be decided on the day suit the riders and prevailing weather conditions. Approximately 25 miles of mixed quiet roads and off-road trails.

Our routes are on quiet lanes and easy off-road tracks as much as possible. We try and avoid off-road tracks that are liable to be very wet and muddy.

We incorporate a coffee stop during the ride.

Please check the weather on the day and dress accordingly. You should also bring a puncture repair kit with either patches or, preferably, a spare tube. Hybrid style or mountain bikes are ideal. Bikes with narrow, slick tyres may have difficulty with some of the off-road sections. All bikes must be in a safe roadworthy condition. Helmets are required and front and rear lights recommended.
