We're getting to the time of year when it's advisable to bring front and rear lights and an extra layer of clothing incase the weather changes.
If you book on this ride and then find you have to cancel, please do so as soon as you can so that your place is available to someone else.
Out of Ancrum via Pinnacle, Sandystones and Longnewton we cross over the A68 and continue to Maxton where we turn left on the A699.
We then turn right to Benrig cemetery and onto the B6404 taking a right turn! We go over the R. Tweed at Mertoun bridge and continue along this road till we have the turn off for Markestoun! Following this road til it joins the B6397 we continue to Floors Castle!
After lunch we return through the cobbled streets of Kelso and over the Tweed and Teviot to Roxburgh then onto Nisbet and over the A68 to Ancrum!
There has been much hedge trimming on the route prior to lunch we will have to be careful
I have identified these area on my recce!
