This is a short, flat, and mainly traffic-free ride that will be perfect if you're new to cycling or getting back on your bike after hiding it away in the shed for a while.
We will meet at The Laughing Dog cafe in the Marina - arrive early if you'd like a cuppa and chat with other riders before we set off.
We will ride at a leisurely pace along the shared use Undercliff Path to Rottingdean, where we will pause at Molly's At The Beach cafe for a cuppa, some cake, and a natter. We will then re-trace our route back to the Marina.
You will have at least one trained ride leader with you to help give you confidence as you get used to being back on the saddle, and we will ride at the pace of the slowest, never leaving anyone behind.
Please check that your cycle tyres are fully inflated before you come along, and that both brakes work. Flat shoes are best for cycling, but apart from that you can wear what you're comfortable in and ride any type of bike! Remember to bring money for the cafe stop.
If you have any questions before the ride, get in touch with your ride leader Alison on 07967 094967 or
