Flat route from Broadstairs to Cliftonville, via Dane Valley Road to Dane Park. From there we will make our way from Mural to Mural and eventually pick up the Viking Trail along the coast into Margate. After visiting the murals in Westbrook and Margate Station we will then retrace our route back to Broadstairs.

There will be a brief coffee stop at the Turner Gallery.

An easy flat ride from St. Peter's Broadstairs to Cliftonville and Margate, stopping to view Margate's Magnificent Murals. Margate murals are public art installations, most notably the Rise Up Residency murals, that are about ocean conservation, focusing on issues like plastic pollution, rising sea levels, and endangered marine life. Created by local and international artists, these artworks serve as a form of activism to raise awareness and inspire the community to reduce plastic use and protect the marine environment. Recent projects also highlight the power and legacy of women, celebrating their connection to the sea.

We will be cycling on a mixture of quiet backstreets and traffic-free cycle-paths. There will be some occasions where we are on busier main roads so you need to be confident riding with traffic and crossing main roads.
