Marcus's Mud Allergy

An antidote to the muddy rides of late, I give you a road ride around the scenic area of Misson / Finningley. the route is not too long at 12.5 miles with an option to add another 6 miles if anyone's feeling up to it, starting at Finningley Village Hall at 10:00am for a 10:15am start, the route takes us from Finningley through Austerfield and left to Newington. The road continues to Misson and through to the Rocket Site. We join the B1396 heading back towards Blaxton and there we will stop off for a cuppa and cake or whatever you fancy at McCallums, Bank end. After a break we can either head back to Finningley for the 12.5 miler or turn right to take in Wroot and then back to Finningley making the route 19 miles. The route is 100% road and suitable for all bikes and abilities and we'll try to keep an average speed of around 8-9mph. This should make the ride about 2 - 21/2 hours so lights should not be necessary, but are always a good idea. The weather is looking good and I hope to see plenty of you there. PS. There are no hills to speak of :)
