A ride round and through Manchester, using cycle trails and canal paths, from Chorlton to Salford Quays and back. 28 miles, flat apart from a few canal bridges and the chance too see the Blue Peter garden! There is one short section through the centre of Manchester but you will be well guided. Join us on this ride which is linked to the Chorlton Revolutionists Ride Social Group, and get an idea of what it's like to ride with a cycling club. Check out the group here: https://www.goskyride.com/SCG/GroupDetails?GroupID=329 You will need a bike that is in good working order, water and a lock and money for the cafĂ© stop. You should have the equipment to fix a puncture, although help will be offered if you need it. A helmet isn't compulsory but is highly recommended. It can still be very cold at the end of February, so make sure you dress for the weather - layers work well so that you can take something off if it's warmer than expected. Remember that you will warm up as you ride, then cool down when you stop. Any questions? Email me at [email protected] Happy Cycling!
