Thank you for joining us at one of our fantastic British Heart Foundation (BHF) Bike Rides. We're thrilled that you've joined the team raising vital funds to help us in the fight against heart disease. If you want to get the most out of your big day, the hard work needs to start way before you cross the start line. That's why we're thrilled to have teamed up with British Cycling to offer you this training ride. The wonderful route explores the best attractions and scenery that Cheshire has to offer. The route starts at Wythneshaw Park and quickly meanders through the suburban setting before opening up onto the quiet country lanes through Ashely. The trees overhang as you cycle to Tatton Park and take advantage of the cycle route through the gorgeous park itself. Great views of the scenery and wildlife, deer can be spotted enjoying the sanctuary, before exiting south of the park and cycle east. The roads meander, slinking their way through quaint settlements until you reach the truly picturesque village of Great Budworth. From Great Budworth it's a short cycle through Comberbach before the Anderton Boat Life, where you can stop for some refreshments! The return route takes you back through Great Budworth then you cycle north, taking advantage of the quiet lanes towards High Legh then onto Dunham Massey. Another potential stop to take in the wonderful scenery at Dunham Massey before cycling back into suburbia and back to Wythneshaw Park.
