Making the big waters weetslade ride a little longer!

If you are considering the weetslade big waters sky ride on the 1st starting in brunswick village at 10am but fancy a longer run then i have a solution, as one of the sky ride leaders on the event i'll be taking an off road ride from south gosforth (NE3 1QL) all the way to the start of the big waters and returning back to south gosforth after. Big waters is around 9 miles, this each way will be around 5.5 miles giving you a total of 20 miles. We'd be setting off from beside the 'sky' sign at the 2 mini roundabouts at 08.45 hrs travelling at around 10 mph to reach the sky ride with a bit of spare time. Expect to be back in south gosforth for around 12.30pm at the latest. Don't forget to sign up to the sky ride event too!!! This ride suits almost any bike although 'racing' bikes with narrow tyres might struggle a little in places.
