Maidstone - Eat, Drink, Ride - 27 miler

You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour.

This circular route at nearly 28miles very quickly takes us into rural Kent's beautiful countryside after leaving our starting location of the Tudor Park Hotel.  It passes through many of the local villages and the world famous Leeds Castle which is often advertised as "Probably the Prettiest Castle in the World".  At about halfway, the ride passes through the village of Headcorn which makes for an ideal refreshment stop with its shops and cafes.  After a brief stop and a natter with our fellow riders we will start on our way back taking in more of rural Kent’s landscape.  This is perfect for a blast of fresh air and a challenging ride out in great company!
