Starting from - Our meeting point is by the ruins of the Procurator's House behind the Magor square car park. You can either park here if there is room but there are also car parks nearby in Withy Close and Sycamore Terrace that you can use. Street parking is also an option.
Please note there are no public toilets here but the Magor services are nearby that you could call into before the start. NP26 3LY
Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.
A ride of 2 distinct halves. Riding from Magor up to the viewpoint at Christchurch, it is a hilly route but then the return leg is either downhill or flat as we loop back through the Gwent levels. A good ride to improve your climbing skills and gain confidence on some busier roads.
A small portion of the route is traffic free but the majority is using roads. Most of these are quieter lanes but there are a couple of sections on busier roads so you need to be confident to ride these.
We will stop at a couple of different points along the route. Our first stop will be the Christchurch viewpoint and then we will stop in Beechwood park for refreshments.
Please wear a helmet and bring along a lock and some money for the café. Also, please make sure you have a spare tube just in case.
We never leave anyone behind
