Starting from - The start point is the free car park by Magor square. There are usually spaces here but if not you can park on the road nearby or there are 2 extra car parks close by - one in Withy Close and one in Sycamore Terrace (by the Co-op). There aren't any toilets here but the Magor services are close by. NP26 3HY

The ride heads out of Magor through St. Brides valley and then turns towards Carrow hill. We then turn and head over Highmoor hill which is our only real climb of the day. Once at the top, we are rewarded with a nice downhill section as we head into Caldicot through the park and then past the castle. We then ride along the traffic free greenway to get to the coffee shop.
After a short break, we ride back along the greenway and then head out to Crick. We then ride along the cycle path into Caerwent and then on through the village. We then carry on to Five Lanes where we cycle back towards St. Brides valley and back into Magor.

A nice scenic route through a country park, Roman village and checks out a new coffee stop in Caldicot

The route is a mix of quiet country lanes and some traffic free sections. It's fairly flat with only 1 real hill to climb and even that's not too steep.

We will stop at the Coffee Beam in Caldicot at about the half way point.

Please wear a helmet and bring along a lock and some money for the coffee stop. It is also a good idea to carry a spare tube just in case.

We especially welcome newbies!
