Hartley Wintney, Dipley, Bramshill, Riseley, around Stratfield Saye Park, The Wellington Arms on A33, Stratfield Turgis, Vicarage Lane, Hound Green.

Café stop at 20miles (Hortus Loci plant centre in Hound Green)

Return: 5 miles back via Vicarage Lane, Mattingley, Dipley, Hartley Wintney.

Back around 1pm

A steady, friendly pace; cycling along tidily. Unrushed. Own pace on hills. Looking out for each other. Re-grouping at junctions and on top of hills. No one left behind

Helmets are compulsory.

In warm weather: 2 small (2 x 550/600ml) or 1 large (750ml) bottles of water, emergency salty snack (crisps are ideal), and banana/biscuit/JellyBabies.

Kindly also ensure that your bicycle is in good working condition (clean and oiled, no squeaking or rattling (annoying/ominous..), tyres correctly inflated, brakes sharp!)

Bring along a spare inner tube if you are running clinchers (“regular” tyres as compared with not tubeless tyres).
