Perthshire
PH1 5HT

A traffic free route on shared walking and cycling paths.
This route starts from outside the Old Bells Sports Centre, does a lap of the North Inch and the heads out beside the golf course to the lower reaches to the River Almond. We have views across to Scone Palace and occasionally an Osprey is seen fishing in the River.

We continue out to Almondbank and have the climb up through the village. This will be a challenge. Then it's Pitcairngreen before taking the Methven road for a short distance. It's then a left and a climb to the Lyndoch Dry Arch and down into Moneydie. We take a rifght turn down to Redgortton and then carefully cross into Luncarty. From there its the shared walking & cycling path back to Perth and the North Inch.

This is a reverse riding of our last ride.

We will stop as and when the ride leaders ask, which is discussed during the ride briefing at the start. Junctions and tops of hills (where safe to do so), photos stops, drink stops, etc
We are out to enjoy ourselves, so please let the ride leader know if there are any stops you want us to make.

On all rides a helmet is mandatory.

Please dress for the weather, wearing whatever is comfortable for you on the bike. Generally clothing should not flap about at the ankles, as it can get caught in the chain, and watch for any clothing catching on the saddle.

Bring water and whatever you might need should you get a puncture.
