Lumley Castle is a Grade I-listed building, originating from the 14th century, we will also visit , miners memorial called Underground and the pick axe bridge at Elba Park.

Mixture of road, trail and cycleways. suitable for any bike with a bit more tread.

Rest stop Riverside Café, Chester-Le-Street at around 20 miles.

Bring: helmet, tools, 2 tubes, waterproofs (even in good weather) and lights for your bike, also enough food and drink for hydration and energy.
