Lumiere London Night Ride

Starting point

Outside the Crocklog swimming pool. The leisure centre is a short distance from Bexleyheath Station and easily accessible. There is parking at the centre but this maybe subject to charges and possible closing times so please check before leaving car there. Toilet facilities are available at the centre.

This ride is from Bexleyheath to London to see the Lumiere London Festival of Light Spectacular which will be taking place between th 14-17th January nightly between 6.30-10.30pm in various locations spanning from Trafalgar Square and Kings Cross. http://www.lumiere-festival.com/ This route will be taking will be mostly on busy roads and may involve various amounts of bike pushing and walking due to road closures and transport restrictions. We can only be approximate in miles likely to be in excess of 30 miles and timings due to the nature of the event so flexibility will be required. At the present time the organisers have not announced full details so please watch this space for further announcements. There will also be an option for anyone not wishing to ride home to take a train as we will be passing stations. Good lights and visible clothing required for this ride feel free to decorate your bike with lights in honour of the occasion. Please also remember to bring along a lock, spare inner tubes, water & snacks as required and some cash/Oystercard in case required.
