Join us for a 6 mile family ride starting from Eamont Bridge.  This ride is virtually all on a traffic free route with only a small distance on quiet roads.  We will cycle from Eamont Bridge to the Lowther Holiday Park.  From here we will continue to follow the estate track to Lowther Castle where we can stop for hot chocolate and cake before returning to Eamont Bridge along the same route.  This ride will suit all abilities and bikes, though be aware that the estate track is not tarmaced the whole way. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. The aim of the ride is to have a fun sociable ride in the company of other women, build up confidence in our riding in a supportive group environment, as well ask questions about bikes and riding, and make links with others. Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable to cycle in and suitable for the weather conditions.  It is a good idea to bring a spare inner tube, a waterproof jacket, a snack and a bottle of water.  We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet.  Children attending this ride must wear a helmet. If you have any questions about this ride then you can e mail us at [email protected] or see our Facebook pages for more information:
