Lovely Lumpy Lanes (from Darley Park)

Taking advantage of the one way traffic restrictions we make our way up to Allestree and Quarndon. Riding past Kedleston Hall we go on to loop around Mercaston, Brailsford and Kirk Langley, criss crossing the A52, before returning via Markeaton Lane and Broadway. As the title of the ride suggests there will be hills but they are pretty steady and add up to just over 1000ft.

A meander around the myriad of lanes to the North and West of Derby.

A mixture of low traffic lanes and busier roads with some bike paths.

We will stop at a cafe towards the end of the ride.

Helmets are advised - I will be wearing one. The Covid bit: This ride will adhere to current social distancing guidelines at all times - from meeting in the car park through to the refreshment stop and includes includes stopping at junctions; Please bring everything that you may need on the ride eg spares and tools, and extra clothing, sharing is not encouraged; There will be no need to wear a face mask for the actual ride but one will be required at the cafe stop or for a mechanical so it's probably best to have one handy. Please do not ride if you feel unwell, have Covid 19 symptoms or have been advised to self isolate. If you develop symptoms or test positive after the ride please let the ride leader know.
