Victoria Park

A circular 23 mile ride through the beautiful East Leicester countryside featuring a visit to one of the best preserved medieval village sites in the country. You will return through the recently developed Watermead Country Park a haven for wildlife and a peaceful stretch of countryside providing you with a glimpse of Leicester old and new. This is one of our longer rides, aimed at cyclists looking for a challenge! You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour.
