Looping And Loafing - 20 ish miles

This ride will be a steady pace to accommodate everyone. We’ll head out towards Codicote, St Pauls Walden, Preston and Whitwell. We will head back via Whitwell and stop for a coffee at the end of the ride back at Loafing.

If you're a faster rider and fancy a relaxed one, you’re very welcome too! There will be hills, at your own pace though, we regroup at the top. Still quite warm so please bring plenty to drink, we will stop for drinks breaks.

Start: Outside Loafing (The Bakery) in Wheathampstead at 9.30am

The important bike bits:

Please ensure your bike is in good working order and you have an emergency backup/taxi number to call on in case of issues.

Before the ride:
- check your bike the night before (Tyre pressure will go down when your bike has not been used or from use!)
- have 2 spare inner tubes, tyre levers and correct pump
- Money for coffee/emergencies. - - Helmet (compulsory on ride)
- Water and a snack, just in case
- Appropriate bright and warm clothing (Rain/Sun – hopefully the latter)
- Lights (not essential but a plus in winter)
