Loop Line to Northwich

This is classed as a road ride but there is a towpath involved on the way out.
This is not a heads down bum up ride. If you want to go fast, this ride is not for you. The average speed is about 10 mph. This is an all tarmac ride, mainly on country lanes.
This is a new ride
From the end of the Loop Line on Higher Road, we head out via Hale Bank then onto the Runcorn Bridge via the “Dirty Road”. We then pick up the Bridgewater Canal into Preston Brook where we climb up to the Cheshire Plain (don’t be fooled). We carry on via Dones Green, Anderton and Northwich itself. Be warned I don’t know Northwich form a lunch point of view but sure we’ll find a café or pub.
From Northwich we head back to Liverpool via Winnington, Weaverham, Crowton, Kingsley, Lady Heyes (if we wish), Frodsham, Runcorn, Runcorn Bridge, Pickering’s Pasture, Hale and Speke.
