Loop east of Durham City

Join us for a 6 mile loop starting at Clayport library and taking in the eastern fringes of the City and riverbanks with some fantastic views. We'll stop at the Cathedral for refreshments so don't forget to bring some money along with you. There's one main uphill at the start but after that it's mainly flat or downhill.
Cycle helmets are compulsary. The ride is suitable for most type of bikes.  Children are welcome, but please ensure that under 12's are confident riders.  Please come suitably dressed especially as it's getting colder. If you don't have a bike, limited bike hire is available locally from Freemans Quay leisure Centre (£!0 charge) Please ring the centre on 03000 268 488 for more information.
