Long Meander in the West

We will meet at the Farmers Arms, Burscough on the banks of the Leeds Liverpool Canal. We will set off and ride following some of the picturesque lanes of West Lancashire visiting some of the smaller villages before having a meal break at Longton. We will then ride back following a different route to the start point at the Farmers Arms where we can obtain refreshments prior to making our way home. We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together. Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group! Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you. Please arrive at least 15 mins before the ride start time, So that we are able to get away at the stated start time
