Blackheath

There is so much to see on this tranquil route. We will ride through some lovely local parks passing along the river Ravensbourne to a short climb up to Blythe Hill for a breathtaking view across London. We will then ride along the Surrey Canal towards the Thames and Tower Bridge and some old cobbled streets between the Wharfs. After a short break, we will meander back along the Thames to Greenwich Park and the Royal Observatory. You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour.
