Local Hills around Whittington plus Hint's Ford!!!

A challenging road ride to keep us warm with hills and a ford! We head south out of Whittington via Weeford to Little Hay, across the back lanes of Canwell Estate to Hints crossing the Ford that is always fun - wet feet are guaranteed so overshoes are recommended! We then skirt the edge of Tamworth and head down 'Syerscote Lane' from Wiggington to Haunton before then heading back to Whittington for a well deserved cafe stop or visit to the Dog Inn. All in all around 25 miles but with 1,200ft of climbing, there are some long climbs & fast descents - you've been warned!!! ROAD BIKES only.
