A tour of some of Liverpool's finest parks, a look at it's two iconic Cathedrals and a visit to Bramley Moore Dock, home of Everton FC at The Hill Dickinson Stadium and a route back that takes us to the Pier Head, The Royal Albert Dock and along the River Mersey promenade through some of Liverpool's beautiful parks.

Mostly hard surfaced roads, park and cycle paths which are suitable for most bike types. The ride will involve cycling along city centre roads which can be busy at times and where we will ask all participants to be extra vigilant and to take extra care.

We will take a refreshment break at Ryde Cycle Cafe in the busy Baltic Quarter adjacent to the old Cain's Brewery. If further refreshment is needed (or ice cream or comfort break) we will also stop at the cafe/ice cream parlour at Calderstones Park and if needed the cafe at Halewood Triangle.

All riders will be required to wear a helmet and carry spare inner tubes and the means to be able to repair a puncture (assistance will be provided if required). Don't forget some money for the cafe stops!

This is a route that offers something for everyone and there will be plenty of photo opportunity stops along the way. (It wouldn't be a CYCLE:St Helens ride without plenty of photos!) We want everyone to enjoy this very friendly group ride so it will be at a pace to suit all riders in the group and to take account of the weather conditions (usually between 9-11 mph). We will never leave anyone behind!
